On 19th September, the final event of the FullSTEAM project was held in the auditorium of the Temple of Poetry in Oeiras. The event was supported by Oeiras City Council and was attended by the Director of the Education Department, Dra Maria Paula Rodrigues, representing the Councillor for Education, Dr. Pedro Patacho.
The event was open to all teachers/educators and was accredited by the Oeiras Teacher Training Centre as a short course. It was a moment to evaluate, but also to share. The trainees (national and foreign) who took part in the training sessions organized under the FullSTEAM project presented the activities they had implemented and developed in their own practices.
We had the participation of international partners and teachers/educators from different countries via zoom.
It was also the occasion for the launch of the handbook ‘STEAM activities: discovering the outdoors’, which brings together proposals for activities. This handbook was designed with the contribution of all the project’s partners, and will be available online, in digital format, in Portuguese, English, Finnish, Icelandic and Latvian. The printed version of the handbook will be distributed to schools associated with the partner training centers.
